By the grace of Allah, Huzoor-e-Anwar (aba) has graciously accepted Majlis Atfalul Ahmadiyya USA’s request to hold a virtual Mulaqat with the US Atfal. This Mulaqat will InshAllah be held on Sunday, 28th of March, in Bait-ur-Rehman Mosque, Maryland.
Due to the restrictions on travel, safety, and security, we will only be able to accommodate around 55 Atfal. Therefore, we will select approximately 10% of Atfal from each Majlis of the four neighboring regions. These regions are Maryland, Virginia, East, and NY Metro.
Atfal aged 10 and above living in these four neighboring regions will be invited to apply for attending the virtual Mulaqat. The application will open on February 22nd and will close on March 2nd. The selection process will be transparent and completely random. The decision of Majlis Atfalul Ahmadiyya USA will be final.
We request prayers and cooperation from all our parents and Atfal for the success of this event. We hope and pray that our Atfal living in other regions can also have an opportunity of Mulaqat with Huzoor(aba) in the near future.
Majlis Atfalul Ahmadiyya USA
Who is eligible to attend the Virtual Mulaqat with Huzoor (aba)?
How will Majlis Atfalul Ahmadiyya select Atfal for Virtual Mulaqat?
There are 17 majalis in the East, Maryland, NY Metro, and Virginia regions. Based on the Tajneed record, a Majlis can have a participant for every 11 Atfal in that Majlis. If a Majlis has more than 11 Atfal but less than or equal to 22, then an additional Tifl will be selected. For example, Majlis X has a tajneed of 13. 2 Atfal from that Majlis will be randomly selected out of the Atfal who have applied. Majlis Y has a tajneed of 28. 3 Atfal from that Majlis will be randomly selected out of the Atfal who have applied.
What safety measures will be in place?
We will implement social distancing and other safety measures that are required/recommended by the government authorities. All participants will be required to wear a mask. Hand sanitizers will be provided. Participants and their chaperones will have to answer screening questions about any potential COVID-19 exposure before entering the mosque.
What time will the meeting start and end? When will the meeting time be shared?
Will there be a dress code for the meeting?
Yes. The dress code will be shared with the parents of selected participants.
